Marcy Maslov, President & CEO

Elected as TWI President and CEO, Marcy J Maslov comes to TWI with a broad background in promoting ethical leadership to corporations and small business. As an entrepreneur she has become a powerful voice for her innovative approach to building strong ethical leaders and professionals. Marcy started her career in Fortune 500 accounting and finance, working for Pepsi, 20th Century Fox and Motorola in roles of increasingly higher responsibility. Marcy has lived and worked internationally and gained insight into global ethical and professional standards that give her a solid understanding on the differing viewpoints of ethical behavior. She left the corporate world for more entrepreneurial endeavors, creating Empowerment Unlimited Coaching, LLC, an executive coaching and consulting firm that brings Fortune 500 skills, financial literacy and real-world ethics continuing education to the small business community. She has become a champion for gamification to improve the quality of professional development.

Marcy holds an MBA from Duke University, and a BS in Accountancy from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She also is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach from The Coaches Training Institute and has served on several non-profit boards including Accounting and Financial Women’s Alliance and Inventors Association of Arizona. Marcy is a successful ASU Venture Mentor and she currently speaks to national and international audiences on the positive value of ethics. Marcy shares with the TWI founders an appreciation and commitment to building ethics in community and empowering individuals to choose to act rather than reacting to emotional situations.

David O. Braaten, Ph.D. Transition Coordinator

Recently retiring after over 13 years as TWI President and CEO, David is excited to serve in assisting TWI's new president and CEO, Marcy Maslow, in a successful transition of leadership and vision. David shares with Macy and the TWI founders an appreciation and commitment to building ethics in community. Education: Ph.D., University of Southern California; Post Doctorate Certificate in Marriage, Family and Child Therapy, University of Southern California; M. of Divinity, Luther Theological Seminary; M.S. and B.S., Arizona State University.

Kristy Carlston Management Associate

Ms. Carlston joined TWI in 2004 and is responsible for financial management and administrative support. She was subsequently elected to serve as TWI Corporate Secretary. Kristy has 20 years of policy writing and information analysis in support of Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC), Job Opportunities and Basic Skills (JOBS), and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) for the Utah Department of Human Services. She also served two years as Eligibility Team Supervisor for AFDC at the Utah Department of Workforce Services and as a trainer in computer software applications. Kristy has a B.S. in Political Science, University of Utah.
